Lynette was born and raised in the beautiful Eastern Free State province of South Africa. She has a natural flair inspired by the beauty of this region and this has sparked her love and natural talent since early childhood. Being an emotional painter, a deep feeling of absolute inner peace is experienced when viewing her paintings. She has decided to use her talent to enrich the world with her God-gifted art talent and love for His creation. A very unique style of visual texture together with strong vibrant colour can be seen in her paintings. But her niche is painting large 1,6 m x 1,4 m oil and acrylic paintings on canvas with special designed wrought iron frames (or any other choice of frames). Her artwork gives zest, mystique, style and atmosphere to any home or office. Lynette has recently relocated from Benoni back to the Eastern Free State (Bethlehem area) where she offers art classes at her studio. She is also a well-known, sought after art teacher with years of experience, exceptional art knowledge, skills and natural talent. She has been teaching art for 20 years at Primary and High Schools, Technical Colleges, and also at her own private Art Studio at home. As a qualified teacher, she loves to work with children and grown-ups teaching them to create the most beautiful, trophy-winning creative original art pieces including sculpture and mix media. She thrives in helping the beginner to be creative, any artist to be more creative and also the creative artist who is stuck. She believes in developing each person’s unique painting style and never enforces her style. Lynette loves spending time painting whatever triggers her mind. She also does murals, décor, graphite face drawings, abstract art and ceramics.
